You can lose the money you stake. Bonuses and licences do not change that. Choosing not to gamble is always an option.
Practical boundaries
- Set a time and spending limit before starting.
- Only use money you can afford to lose — never money needed for bills, food or rent.
- Do not borrow to gamble or chase losses.
- Take breaks and avoid gambling when distressed or under the influence.
- Use the operator’s deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools.
Recognise warning signs
Spending more than planned, hiding gambling, borrowing money, chasing losses or feeling unable to stop can indicate harm. You do not need to wait for a crisis to ask for help.
